Each morning is different though you’d surely think not…
this husky I love snores under my bed and the little one with black spots is always snuggling close to my head
a grey striped tabby kneAds bread as I sleep but he’s sure to be gone once the husky comes from beneath (my bed)
the ruler of the critters and perhaps me as well is the littlest of the gang with her Siamese “meooowing” yell!
it’s not that she’s superior or something of a boss; it’s more that she’s cunning and knows not to be crossed
we all proceed with our day together in tow and the kibble and canned food gets ALL eaten in case you didn’t know
our world is quite vast with the space that we share but in other ways small when there’s tension in the air
two pups and two kittys can be such great friends, I dare swear… but once in a moment things can be a bit of a hairy scare
the downstairs belongs to the felines and upstairs is all bark so wherever I go I’m never alone in the dark
the kittys go everywhere but own the downstairs so you’ll never see canines wandering down there
I roam around most freely because I’m the keeper, you see; but I’d be nothing at all without them and their need of me
I ask them often, individually of course, if they’re enjoying the day or if they lack from some loss
their happiness is foremost critical to me and nothing is above them or anything they plea
each evening is different but you’d surely think not…
the husky I love is beneath my bed while the little one with spots snuggles to my head and the grey ghost appears to be kneAding more bread as the Siamese boss isn’t ruling now because she’s sleeping insteaD.
