White has covered the memory of you
How unfair that this should happen
The crickets have given up their chatter; I urge them for song
The blades of green have made their beds
Cardinals stay while hummingbirds fled-the sweetness of the bloom is gone
Continue with my thoughts of you; habits of resistance hold true
Circling in my mind this loop of eternity
Hovering your spot I float above and sometimes soar
Waiting is not within the patience of me but still I will
This whiteness will pass to make way for the dew
I’m here; I’m here; I’ll wait for You
